California Private Investigator, Filley and Associates conducts investigations throughout Northern and Southern California. Our offices in San Francisco and Marin provide San Francisco Bay Area Private Investigator services, but we also provide California investigation services throughout the state.

Our operatives handle cases of all types in California. Depending on case requirements, we either travel to the location of the investigation, (San Francisco is a one hour flight from Los Angeles.) or we use our extensive network of trusted Southern California investigators to handle portions of the investigation.

A friend called me one Sunday. She asked if I could help locate a missing family member. I had no idea how to do that, and not enough time had passed to file a true "missing person" report with the police. When in doubt, hire a professional. I found Scott online and spoke with him on the family's behalf. He replaced the situation's stress with a methodical process and insight. Scott asked thoughtful discovery questions to orient his search, then got started. It took less than 10 minutes. As you can imagine, this wasn't an awesome time for that family. Scott's work...on a Sunday...delivered aid, comfort, and results. The missing family member was found in less than 90 minutes. There's an old saying that it's not enough to do your best...you have to know what to do, and then do your best. In this situation, and I'm sure others like it, Scott knew what to do. Thanks to Scott we were able to track down our homeless son in a matter of days after our own attempts to find him had failed. Scott was honest, dedicated and persistent. He stayed within the budget we set for his services. He was able to arrange for our son to be served with legal papers once he had been located. Way Lee and Eva were tremendous. I had a very unique and difficult problem in China that needed a skilled and knowledgeable person on the ground to collect reliable information and contact appropriate agencies including different police departments. I was in the US and could not help. With one trip and many follow-up phone calls, Eva kept control of the situation and guided a series of complex actions to achieve the result. You need to call Scott if you want an investigator who will take the time to speak with you, hear your concerns and provide you with individualized and personalized attention.
