China Investigation

Our investigations in China are conducted by Zhong Yang Business Services Ltd. - ZY Services for short. ZY Services is registered and approved by the Chinese Government. ZY Services uses Western investigation techniques and quality control and applies them to the intricate Chinese market, following all Chinese laws and regulations.

Investigation in China is different from investigation in the US and other countries. For instance, ZY Services does not conduct any criminal investigations, as this is contrary to Chinese law.

Business investigation and credit investigation in China is difficult in that most records are kept at the local level, often neighborhood district level, with few central databases. Many documents are recorded by hand and in handwriting. The availability of records therefore varies from city to city.

Traffic in urban areas is another challenge for investigators. Heavy traffic and the aggressive, chaotic driving style in China's cities makes surveillance challenging - requiring additional operatives and vehicles. The heavy traffic sometimes complicates matters. Just getting from one place to another in Guangzhou for instance can be a time consuming exercise.
